What Causes Chest Pain And Gastric Issues?

Hi, i am a professor in the university, I usually get chest pain,and gastric trouble, one of myfreinds(doctor) advised me to take Duspatalin@retard 200 mg, I take one tablet, after two hours I found a little swelling on the right cheek, is it because of the drug? I am an also BP patient, can I continue the the drug or stop it?

Hello,

Chest pain with gastric trouble can be from GERD.
You need to take Lansoperazole, once daily for 3 weeks.
So for Duspatalin is concerned, it doesn't cause cheek swelling which may be due to a tooth infection. Assess yourself if you have broken teeth in the mouth.

I suggest you to avoid beverages, coffee, citrus foods and smoking. However, if symptoms continue after taking drugs and prevention measures, then visit to the emergency room for further examination.
