Hi my name is Nicholas I just was in the er last night for chest pains the physician told me everything seemed normal but when my blood test results came back I noticed my wbc was high my hgb was low my mchc was low and my mpv was also low he didn t explain these results with me
For your chest pain EKG and chest x ray has to be done for primary work up...
Elevated wbc count can be present in inflammation as well...
Bronchitis like infective condition can be responsible...
Symptomatic management has to be done and if fever present along with cough and seems bacterial on examination than antibiotic prescribed
Low hemoglobin value and low MCH suggest toward anemia for which peripheral smear examined and if it us nutritional anemia than accordingly iron tablet or vitamin B12 prescribed..
Avoid stress if taking...
Follow your treating physician advise and discuss all this with him
Take care
