When I cough or yell my chest hurts behind the middle of the chest.I had a little cold I was getting over but today I had a itchy thorat and a bad cough while I was coughing my chest felt pain of fire.every since then my chest hurts when I cough or yell

Hello and welcome.

Try to rest your voice and avoid yelling. Drink plenty of water, and if at all you have doscoloration of your sputum or phlegm, this may be an infection that requires a doctors attention.

But if your cough is dry, then it could be related to a gastric condition resulting in hyperacidity or acid reflux which has symptoms like heartburn and dry cough, both of which you have. For this, tou will need plenty of water, antacids, avoid smoking, avoid alcohol, avoid spicy/fried/fatty/oily food and avoid overeating.
