What Causes Chest Pain And Palpitations In A Person With High BP?

im 36 and in good shape,trainng 5 6 tims a week,but for lost 3 weeks im sick and sating at home,my gb saw i have high bp and pulpition,now when i count my puslets 49 to 50 it really bothers me,now i get pain around my hearth and can not sleep without midication at night,if you plz answer me,,,,

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have chest pain and palpitations with high BP . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like caffeine , nicotine from tobacco products , stress, anxiety , dehydration , electrolyte abnormalities , low blood sugar , anemia , hyperthyroidism or cardiac problem . I would suggest you to consult cardiologist for proper examination and rule out the more serious condition . Doctor may order ECG , TMT , troponin t test along with complete blood count and check vitals . Doctor may prescribe betablockers , aspirin , isosorbide nitrate and diuretics . Doctor may also refer you to endocrinologist for thyroid problem . For now stay calm , do not exert your body and take proper rest .
