What Causes Chest Pain And Profuse Sweating After Swallowing A Pill?
I took my pill yesterday and with a small sip of water,when I took the pill with water I had a very tight throat,swallowed the pill and instantly had the worse chest pain I could of ever of had,I sat down and got clammy and sweaty,the pain lasted nearly three minutes then went away,what happened?

This is due to insufficient water to lubricate and push the pill down the food pipe or alternatively due to large sized pill.
Swallow pills one by one and also with sufficient water
If the pain is recurrent and persistent then we need to think of the possibility of inflamed or liberated food pipe.
