What Causes Chest Pain And Raspy Voice While Suffering From Laryngitis?

I have had a cold for a couple of weeks and laryngitis for a week. My throat is still a little sore to swallow but when I breathe in, I have the sensation you feel when you take a deep breaths in the winter outside, and it feels like you have taken too big a breath because you have pain. That pain in my upper chest and throat is with every breath. My voice is still vary raspy and talking makes me very tired.
