When I fall asleep, I experience very painful chest pain. I am aware of it (in an early state of sleep but still aware)and often think that I am having a heart attack. I sleep on my back and often (with or without the chest pain), my arms become numb.
In my opinion you should first undergo ECG consult cardiologist. As the pain you are describing is more likely of cardiac origin. So no need to wait just go for ECG and if ecg is normal I would recommend you to go forvTMT and 2D ECHO.
