What Causes Chest Pain, Headache And Shortness Of Breath?

I have pertussis and for more than a week I ve been having my throat close and I am gasping for air. It happens more at night and leaves me exhausted, Lately it gives me horrible chest pains, today while my airway closes and I am gasping for air I got a headache & thought my head would explode. I am so tired from waking up at nite and I am so scared I am afraid to sleep. Please help

Read and tried to understand your problem.
What wonders is that you have a severe problem like gasping for air and so on, you should have been hospitalized and under the continuous care of the Doctors and the staff.
Please rush to the hospital and get admitted for proper clinical evaluation by your Doctor and investigations of Pulmonary function tests, bronchoscopy and CT Scan of the chest along with the proper treatment.
