What Causes Chest Pain In A Child After A Playing?

Hi, My 6 year old complained about chest pains (location of the heart in the front and back) after completing an hours session of trampoline class today. He explained that his chest hurts when he jumps and he is still in pain when he is sitting down. He has not been ill, nor had any accidence recently. He is Vitamin D deficient. Any advise would be helpful?

Hi. He must have pulled a muscle. Its definitely not cardiac from what it sounds. Vit d def presents with generalised aches and pains even without activity. That fact that your son had it after trampoline workout shows there is a definite trigger here. Let him rest. Next time let him play well but not too hard. Don't forget to warm up. Give him some tylenol for now. Hope it helps and he is back to his game. Take care.
