What Causes Chest Pain In The Left Side?

i m 40 years old. for the past 18 months i had been suffering from chest pain particularly on the left side and slightly on the right side. i have undergone several blood tests which are normal my ecg also normal. i am taking bp and thyroid tab.for the past 18 months. now bp and tsh are normal but the pain continues. can u clear me the reason for the pain. my doctors could not trace the reason.
