Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Chest pain that last from 30 seconds to 4 minutes depending on the activity, Walked into a store grabbed my item and walked back to car. The chest pain lasted 4-5 minutes. I had a stint put in last month, I have been wearing a heart monitor for about 6 days now, and I recently started medication. 81 mg baby aspirin, 80 mg, Lipitor 25 mg Bystolic, 50 mg plavix... The chest pain just started on Thursday again, but different pain than the symptoms I was feeling when I needed the stint put in. I noticed the pain comes in after I have eaten something then do something.
As per my clinical experience, there can be various possibilities for the chest pain after eating as: - Gastric ulcer or acute gastritis - Erosion of stomach wall through intake of aspirin - Dietary factors - Stress exacerbation of gastric acid release
Guidelines at present: - Consume bland vegan diet and avoid all spices, non veg, junk items - Check to have regular bowel evacuation - Take proper rest - Regular walking - Meditations and YOGA
- Use aspirin and rest of the medicines only after meals - Take proton pump inhibitor as omeprazole or rabeprazole with sips of water on empty stomach
Consult your doc for further guidance and care plans.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
