What Causes Chest Pain, Numbness In Right Leg, Vomiting And Urinary Retention?
Hello, I have a lot of medical issues I a concerned about the first is I just had a vascular by-pass done on July21, my right leg had been like its asleep ever since, yesterday I got up with slight chest pains and my right feels like my leg its asleep. Is this normal? I have been vomiting, don t eat very well and my bladder feels full but i cant pee what s going on I feel like I am dying at 46 years of age
It is possible that there was a minor injury in the area where the blood vessel was removed in the leg.
This is an unfortunate possible side effect of surgery. Nerve damage can cause an altered sensation in an area.
It would not be associated with the chest pain and vomiting or discomfort in the bladder, these are in keeping with a possible acute infection that may need to be assessed. Urine analysis and general physical examination.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Michelle Gibson James, General & Family Physician
