What Causes Chest Pain Radiating To The Throat With Bitter Taste In Mouth?
I keep getting pain on my right side of my chest, and up into my throat feels like heart burn. and some times a very bitter taste in my mouth, then clear liquid comes out. this has been happening at least 3 to 4 times a week, and some times twice a day. I have tried Apple cider Vinegar, Tums, Prilosec OTC , and also Heartburn Relief Gummies, nothing works. The pain is very bad.
It seems like you have developed an acid peptic disease and gastro-esophageal reflux disease. The answer is that you should avoid late night meals. avoid acidic foods. Avoid carbonated drinks and overtly spiced foods. Use esomeprazole 20mg (nexium) twice a day along with a prokinetic agent like itopride taken before meals thrice a day.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Muhammad Faisal Bacha, Internal Medicine Specialist
