What Causes Chest Pain, Shortness Of Breath And Abdominal Discomforts?
so I ve already had an echocardiogram, 2 ekg s, a holter monitor, and CT Scan of the abdomen and chest. All came back normal except I have backed up stool in my colon. I m not sure why In the past 5 months I have chest pain, shortness of breath and abdominal discomfort. I ve had severe nonstop panic attacks in the past 7 months. I just hoped I ruled out any cardiac related problems. I also have lost 10 pounds in the these last 5 months for no reason. I m a 23 year old fairly healthy male. I do know I have acid reflux though.
Thanks for your question on HCM. In my opinion, since your cardiac workup is normal , I suggest you to consult pulmonologist and rule out bronchitis by PFT(Pulmonary Function Test). Because acid reflux and bronchitis commonly worsen each other. Chest pain, shortness of breath all seen in bronchitis. And acid reflux can cause abdiminal discomfort. if this is also normal than it must be due to anxiety and tension. Anxiety can cause panic attacks and reflux too. So be calm and relax and consult pulmonologist.
