What Causes Chest Pain, Spine Pain, Anxiety And Headache?
For a couple of weeks I have had headaches at the back of my neck. But more so have intense pain in my spine and around the occipital that happened 6 to 8 weeks ago. I have not slept well for a couple of weeks. Am on armour for 5 yrs but now have chest pains anxiety headaches not sleeping. Last nite I did not take armour the second dose which is 60 no twice a day buy. I now am 62 yrs. But in 1996 they used Radiation to kill the thyroid off. Because it was so hot and it was hyper. Doc was afraid of thyroid cancer
The symptoms you have can happen due to impaired thyroid function or due to anxiety/depression. It is important to check your TSH and FT4 level to make sure the dose of the drug you take for the thyroid is the right one you need now.
Sometimes the dose needed might change with time and cause symptoms if the dose is not adjusted. You will need to have a screen for depression and anxiety and have proper treatment if these are diagnosed.
For the pain the neck and head some physiotherapy might be helpful to relax the muscles and make them less painful.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Antoneta Zotaj,
