Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I can breathe through my nose pretty well, but it really hurts to take a deep breathe in. This has been an issue for about 3 weeks now. Went to my dr. last week and was given Rx for Amoxicillan and told that I am having nasal drainage which is irritating my chest. Low grade temperature persists and it really hurts to breathe deep or talk - it isn t my throat that hurts, but the upper part of my chest. Any idea if this will go away on its own?

What Causes Chest Pain Upon Breathing?
Hi try steam inhalation with Vicks and any expectorant containing Ambroxol/Bromhexine or Guaphenesin. Regards
