What Causes Chest Pain When Overweight?

Yes I am 27 yr old woman. I am overweight and I keep having chest pains. It first started in Feb. 2009. At first I thought it might just be an anxiety attack but I was very mad and upset at the time. But it has happened several times since then. I think it might be heartburn since it does seem to go away. They last for about 30 secs to a minute sometimes for 10 mins sometimes for as long as 2 hours. It feels like a tightening of my heart. It doesnt matter what Im doing I can be sitting around, working out, mad, calm, ate something or not. It could be months since Ive had one or days.

Hai,
Heart burn will be related and influenced by the food intake, regularity, type of food intake etc.
as your pain is on and off.may be musculo skeletal problem too. to differentiate from heart or Food pipe related problem
i suggest you to go for an ECG and stress test and lipid profile to rule out the reason behind your pain.
Thank you
hope i answered your query
