Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Its hard for me to breathe and sometimes I felt chest pain and I always burp, before, i m suffering from gerd but before I feel full..stomachache but now that the only symptoms I can,feel...is xheatpain, and hard to breathe do you think I m suffering again in gerd.... Thank you
Burping, chest pain and shortness of breath, all can be symptoms of GERD. As you are already having history of GERD, therefore, your symptoms probably point towards again GERD. However, to be cautious, shortness of breath is also a common symptom of heart disease and also persons having GERD are more prone to heart disease as compared to normal population. Therefore, you are advised to consult your doctor for your base line work up of heart, if the doctor thinks essential.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Satnarain Bansal, General & Family Physician
