Hi,
I understand your concern.
* pain while breathing/ shoulder joint pain can be due to
soft tissue injury / involvement of boney structure.
* If there is no uterine contraction/bleeding / water discharge-- there is less possibility of risk to
pregnancy. Still a full evaluation is indicated.
Any incidence of fall in pregnancy needs to be taken care of,though fall on a carpet is less likely to cause severe injury,
You should consult your family physician/ Er room/ obstetrician( whatever is possible earliest) to check you thoroughly for-
- Local trauma to chest wall, shoulder joint, ribs - Exclude fractures/ joint involvement & to judge severity of soft tissue trauma.
- To check any jerk affecting your abdomen, Your pregnancy, exclude any bleeding, leaking, pains. USG abdomen will help in judging total safety of the baby.
Till then, Take rest, take plenty of water, light food, Do not foment or
massage unless advised by doctor.
Pain killer
Ibuprofen paracetamol combination available over counter , taken after food, twice a day.. would relieve you a bgit.
thanks.
