What Causes Chest Pain While Suffering From Acid Reflux?
i have been dealing with what i think is acid reflux for almost 6 months. i have developed a dry cough at night. when i eat ., it seems hard to swallow and sometimes i have pain in the middle of my chest. i burp almost all the time. feels like im going to vomit most of the time.
You are experiencing signs of reflux, i.e. heartburn. A burning pain or discomfort that may move from your stomach to your abdomen or chest, or even up into your throat associated with regurgitation: a sour or bitter-tasting acid backing up into your throat or mouth.
In many cases, lifestyle changes combined with over-the-counter medications are all you need to control the symptoms of acid reflux disease. Antacids such as Alka-Seltzer, Maalox, Mylanta, Rolaids, or Riopan; can neutralize the acid from your stomach. If antacids don't help, your doctor may try other medications.
Hope this clarifies your concern. Any feedback would be appreciated.
Take care
Regards,
