What Causes Chest Pain While Suffering From An Upper Respiratory Tract Infection?

I just got over upper respitory infection, I am female 52 and a smoker, it took me about 10 days to be ok, then two days ago I started feeling as though my chest was being crushed. I can t lay my sides without pain, only my back, when I get up from laying down I have to catch my breath I thought maybe my hernia was back but now not so sure. even when I sit if I try to sit straight I will have pain through my upper back and rib cage in front
