What Causes Chest Pain While Suffering From Pulmonary Fibrosis?
Hi,doctor. My name is Juliet, I m 35yrs old, mother of three.I have been diagnosed of lower lobe lungs fibrosis which started 2yrs ago when I had my last baby through CS.I have gone for sputum test recently which says negative. I also went for mantoux test, and it read 0mm.pls,could this mean. I have no cough, but so much pains in my chest region.
It is related to fibrosis and cough but you can go for second opinion. You can go for culture and sensitivity test.
Everything depend on accuracy of first test. If they are correct then treatment should be done.
Pain is due to fibrosis will take time. For relief from pain, you will have to take some analgesic including some morphine substitute. Pain is mainly due to fibrosis and contraction.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Ashok Kumar Dash, Ophthalmologist
