What Causes Chest Pain While Swallowing Something?
My chest hurts. When I swallow my chest feels like it's getting cut by razors. It's getting where I'm afraid to eat or drink a thing. I've had headaches and I'm dizzy and nauseous a lot. I'm wondering if I should go to the emergency room. I've been pretty much in pain constantly for a week
Hello As you mentioned that you are having acute pain when swallow something and afraid to eat or drink . Also having slight dizziness and nausea from last seven days . These symptoms may be due to . Acute esophagitis or inflammation of esophagus . As I have seen in so many patients that due to acute gastritis ( hyper acidity or esophagitis ) they feel as something stuck in food pipe or esophagus and very difficult to swallow something. The reasons of such symptoms may be due to spicy or oily or greasy foods or due to certain medicines . When such patient visit my clinic I prescribe them to take antacid ( if it contains oxetacaine , better ) 4 T S F stat and 2-3 T S F after every 4 hours till complete relief. Also take some pantaloc-d once or twice in day. Hope this information will help you.
