What Causes Chest Pain While Taking Deep Breath?

i have been experiencing chest pain for a few days. At first it was only when i was trying to inhale, then the pain went away and i was able to inhale and only had pain when taking a deep breath. I have had pain only when taking a deep breath for the last couple of days. Today however i have had chest pain with or without breathing, just constant and i also have had referred shoulder pain since this started.

It seems to be due to lung infection, but without proper work up, no one can assess. Cardiac problems must also be ruled out. So I suggest you to go the physician for examination, who will run a battery of tests and diagnose what's wrong there.
