What Causes Chest Pain With Arm Discomfort?

I am a 35-yr old female. I have had chest pain off and on for years but it slowly got more frequent. Almost everyday. Arm discomfort also, but most of the time without chest pain. Had ekg, xray, and treadmill stress test done and all came back normal. What could it be?

Hi welcome to HCM.
Chest pain with negative results in all major investigations can be due to noncardiac origin. This can be due to underlying acute or chronic stress.Drugs like anxiolytics like alprazolam for 3 months can correct the underlying stress and reduce the chest discomfort.Restrict the intake of salt and regular physical activity will help to reduce the symptoms.Repeat all the baseline investigations done earlier on semiannual basis.Consult your cardiologist for further care.
Thank you.
