What Causes Chest Pain?

I have been experiencing chest pain for months. The pain is sharp/with heaviness and comes mostly at bedtime. Sometimes it's so severe it awakens me from my sleep. Doctors has given me EKG tests, Echo Gram test, and chest X-Rays but tell me nothing is wrong because everything comes back normal. I did some reading myself and stumbled across something called Myocardial Bridge. Don't know what's going on with me but I constantly have chest pain especially at bedtime..Don't know what to do or think anymore. Wish I knew why before something fatal happens because no one could find anything wrong.

Thanks for contacting HCM with your health concern

1. As chest pain is not related to heart, breathing [pleural pain], as tests came back normal make sure it is not related to chest wall [local rib tenderness] or with food [due to indigestion/gas or an oesophagitis or hiatal hernia i.e. acid reflux]

2. Do not rely on information provided by the Internet, best is to consult a Cardiologist for your health problem only then proper management can be undertaken by you
