What Causes Chest Pain?

hi, short and simple. i have been having chest pain in my left side hurts. when i breathe in it hurts the worst. I ve gotten these since i was a child and I am now 24. normally they last a minute or two and i can take deep breaths and go away. this paid started again yesterday at four in the afternoon. I went to the ER at 7 because it hadnt gone away. They treated me for anxiety (i know this difference i get anxiety attacks and this is not that) gave me two zanex and I left they pain is still not gone today

Hi,

It can be due to chronic costochondritis. Severe anxiety can also cause this symptoms. As a first line of management you can take analgesics like ibuprofen or Diclofenac for pain relief. If symptoms persist, better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
