What Causes Chest Tightness Along With Breathlessness And High Heart Rate?

my daughter is a vegan, has been experiencing chest tightness, shortness of breath , pulse rate 120, she had the flu two weeks ago, dehydration, she went to er and chest X-ray was clean, ekg was normal, can you direct me on a place to find the proper nutrition that she should be taking? email YYYY@YYYY

Hi.

This could probably be related to a gastric condition so the main approach would be to drink plenty of water, and avoid spicy/fried/fatty/oily food. Along with this an antacid like ranitidine or omeprazole 15 minutes before each meal should certainly help.
