What Causes Chest Tightness And Difficulty In Breathing?

symptoms: difficulty in breathing, tightness in the chest area and it has been a week already. Could this be pulled chest muscle? I have got my ECG,blood test and Xray, but everything was normal. I'm really worried on how long will this recover and will further exercise further worsen the situation.

Pulmonologist 's  Response
Hi
Thanks for your query.
In the presence of normal ECG, blood tests and chest X-ray, you still may have obstructive airway diseases (like asthma or COPD) which may cause such problems. For this you need to undergo spirometry with bronchodialator reversibility testing along with detailed clinical examination by an experienced pulmonologist to have a solution to your problems.
Thank you.
