What Causes Chest Tightness?

today when mowing grass, my blood pressure was 116/65 with a pulse of 130. I stopped because my chest was tight. I am a 65 year old female, with little exercise (I m embarrassed to tell you that). Now, several hours later, my bp is 125/82 with a pulse of 117.

Hello Thanks for trusting health care magic.
From many cause s of tightness of chest , cardiac ischemia is the one. If you exoerience this symptom on exertion and it gets relieved after taking rest then cardiac etiology can be short listed. Talk to a physician and get a treadmill test to look for inducible ischemia.
