What Causes Chewing Movement Of Mouth After Speaking And Constant Thirst In Child?

My son is 2 yrs old and I have been noticing that after he speaks his bottom lip moves like he is chewing something but he is not. Even if he just days no his bottom lip just moves up and down after. The other thing that I have notice is he is always thirsty he talks in his sleep sometimes and says I want drink .

Hello and welcome.

Don't worry about the bottom lip, some children have a lisp when they are younger and this could probably be the cause. Children cant pronounce words the way we adults can, and they take time to learn these things. Do not worry.

As for the thirst, give him as much fluids as possibly from when he wakes up, until 2 hours before his bed time. The last 2 hours before bed time, give him only small sips of water to avoid habits like bed wetting.
