What Causes Chill After Bee Sting?

I was stung by a bee on the sole of my feet. I took out the stinger immediately and all was well until about 12 hours later. I developed chills. I thought it was flu. I took some panadol and went to sleep. This morning, I felt better. There were no more chills. Is it ok not to see the GP. Or should I be cautious and go and see the GP to get some medication? Will the symptons come back again?
