What Causes Chills Along With Fever And Body Tremors?
I am 81 and in good health except for a recently discovered impaired kidney i found out about from a blood test. But over the past 10 yrs I come down with chills/fever/shaking/vomiting, and sever weakness--i had it last year and this year, usually when I feel cold, or am coming down with a cold, or during a cold. what is this?

Fever with chills and vomiting in old age may be due to
1. Repeated episodes of pneumonia or urinary tract infection (UTI) or sepsis.
2. Hypovolemia and cold periphery.
3. Pulmonary tuberculosis or lymphomas.
4. Unable to control the temperature by thalamus in a thalamic low set of temperature point etcetera. Please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
