General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Cause of chills with fever is the body’s response to viral infection through inflammation and heaves are a secondary manifestation of the same. Usually, it subsides within 48 hours of commencing the treatment. Measures for faster recovery:
• Continue medicines as per doctor advice
• Plenty of liquids by mouth to maintain water levels in the body
• Diet should not contain much of fat
• Avoid alcohol or other beverages and any kind of tobacco
• Maintain room temperature accordingly

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
