I woke up from a nap freezing cold (it was 75 in my room) my heart rate was around 88 bpm. I was dreaming that i was dying and couldnt wake up so i could understand the rapid heart rate but not freezing. Do you think this could be my heart or is it just anxiety?
Your heart rate was within normal range though it may be faster than what you are used to. A normal heart rate is between 60 to 100 beats/min.
This means that your heart is not to have likely contributed to feeling cold. This may have been anxiety.
If it continues however, it is important to remember that chills can also be associated with infections. Low levels of thyroid hormone can cause cold intolerance so a person may feel very cold at normal or just below normal temperatures.
