What Causes Chills, Tremors, Brain Fog, Fatigue And Double Vision While On Xanax?

Can you have chills, tremors, brain fog, fatigue and or/unable to sir still. double vision, droopy eyelids, facial edema, and or seizures from years of Xanax use? I have been taking it for 32 years, never more than prescribed, which is 4 daily at .5 mg. Usually 1 per day, occasionally 3-4, maybe once every week or two. I have had the above symptoms for a year and a half along with several doctors I have seen, several blood tests, allergy testing, and my sister is positive it s from the Xanax. I do have Celiac, psoratic arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, depression and anxiety.

Hello,

Cannot say in your particular case, but generally, withdrawal from a sedative can cause all of that and would be a reason to come off of it. Again, cannot say in your case and.

Either you can try being off of it and go onto other drugs such as anti-depressants and low dose anti-epileptics (which how the heck can someone NOT be on if they have seizures?) or one has a drug dependency that Really has to be dealt with
