What Causes Chlamydia?

Hello, i was tested for chlamydia and it came out positive. Then after that, i took the pills but my partner didn't. we continued having intercourse. i went a couple of months later to get tested again, and got tested for chlamydia again, and this time it came out negative, i am VERY confused. Can you tell me what's going on?

Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
All STIs are not necessarily 100% transmissible to the spouses. Due to various reasons like innate immunity, one might remain free from that STI in spite of regular contact. Likewise your partner would not have been affected by Chlamydia at all. You didn't mention about your previous sexual activities. Source of infection could be elsewhere.
