What Causes Choking After Eating With Inability To Catch The Breath?
I have had a few episodes of unexplainable choking, tonight i had just finished a cherry ice and 5 minutes later i choked on my own saliva ??? This has happened a few times before and I thiought that i was not going to be able to catch my breath, my wife had to pound on my back????

u have to clear on your question. whether this choaking episodes occur on taking some special food or some thing - then it may be due to anaphylatic reaction due to allergy to that particular food item
other possibility is vocal cord palsy - but as u didnt mention anything abt change in voice or persistance of this symptoms then the chance for it is remote
