What Causes Choking On Saliva And Neck Pain After Thyroid Removal?
I had a total thyroid removal about 5 years ago and a total hystorectomy 3 months prior to the thyroid. I am now 48 years, 135 lbs., and 5 2 tall. I am having alot of the same discomforts that I did before the thyroid removal, like choking on my saliva and or water, exhaustion, acid reflux, and sometimes sharp pains on left side of my neck. I just got bloodwork back today and of course everything is in normal range. When I had my thyroid removed the doctor said that it was actually strangeling me and wrapped around my vocal cords and airway.
