What Causes Choking While Sleeping?
I awoke I the middle of the night choking on vomit and my throat had closed up. I coughed and choked it out of myself but then had to physically force an inhale. I was finally able to breathe ok, but could not lay down as usual to sleep without the throat closing up again. I have never had any history of things like this.
