Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, i have been trying to manage my abdominal pain for 7 months and has gotten really bad recently. I had an xray, bloodwork, urine and stool test 2 months ago, showed nothing. Taking 2 ranitidine seems to make the pain manageable for about 8 hours so i started taking 2 tablets 3 times daily now. So if the doctors say i have too much stomach acid and i have regular bowl movements, have no ulcers or acid reflux/heartburn what could it be? The pain is in the center below the sternum. My mom wants my gallbladder to get looked at. If its my gallbladder, would ranitidine help the symptoms?
