What Causes Chronic Back Pain Along With Hypermobility Syndrome In Ligaments?

Hi there, I am 19 years of age with chronic back pain since July 2014. I have been diagnosed with hypermobility syndrome (meaning my ligaments are more flexible than most people s ligaments which allows my bones to move in weird ways). In July I lay down on my couch which is nothing new and I couldn t get back up. Every day since then I have been on at least a 6 out of 10 on a pain scale and some days I am unable to walk and am on 10 out of 10 scale. I have been on various different pain relief medications such as Valium, lyrica, pain patches, kodeine based drugs, injections and since august 2014 I ve been on opiates daily. I have been for MRI scans and to consultants and to physio and acupuncture. I was advised to avoid chiropractic treatment by my GP as it would make me more unstable. I don t know what to do anymore as I am still very bad and I am wondering does anyone have any ideas? I would really appreciate any help I am so lost!! Thanks x

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, you have to adjust the with the condition try to be calm no need to have such medicine for this because this could cause more panic attack moreover chances of addiction would be likely, try some relaxation therapy, aerobic exercise, yoga, meditation, control your thoughts, no need to worry about this, hope this information helps, take care.
I find this answer helpful
