Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have had chronic back pain for many years. It has gotten worse and debilitating. It can totally be gone by my wife walking on my back and massaging the low back and buttocks. Electrical stimulation also helps a great deal. Walking keeps me in less pain. There seems to be no identifiable cause by activity. I have mri s, nerve conduction tests and chiropractic manipulation. What would you suggest.

General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for asking HCM I have gone through your query. Back muscle strain or lumbar disc problems can be the reason. Muscle relaxants like cyclobenzaprine and NSAIDs like aceclofenac will be helpful. Back muscle strengthening exercises and physiotherapy helps. Life style modification will be needed also. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
