What Causes Chronic Body Aches While On Arimidex?
I have been taking Arimidex for 3 1/2 years to keep cancer at bay. I have been having lots of aches in body and joints which is one of the side efforts. My Dr. says I have to take for 18 more months. I had a lumpectomy and went threw 6 weeks of radiation before going on this drug. A friend of my has recommended Turmeric Curcumin as a possible relief naturally. Thoughts ?

yes you are quite right. it is the sideeffect of armidex. you keep taking regular calcium tablets and bisphosphonates as prescribed by your doctor. also get your serum VIT D levels done and DEXA scan at regular intervals . if the symptoms remain intolerable then we can change armidex to another hormonal medication or stop it all together
