Hello,

Burning pain in various part of the body is invariably a sign of peripheral neuropathy, which is quite often seen in diabetes. Peripheral neuropathy is one of the most often seen early complication seen in diabetes. Particularly if blood glucose is not well controlled. Therefore, it is most likely the symptoms experienced could due to diabetes.

Hence, strict glucose control is a primary requirement to help control the burning sensation and pain. Secondly drugs like Methylcobalamine, folic acid and lipoleic acid and niacin amide combination can be used to reduce the symptoms. Plus Pregabalin and / or Gabapentin also can be useful to control pain. So please come back with following information: Fasting and PP glucose levels, HbA1c%, drugs being taken for controlling glucose, dietary pattern, extent of daily exercise, weight, and height. Then I will be able to guide specifically.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
