What Causes Chronic Chest Pain With Nausea?

I am having chest pain, nothing detrimental but it has been consistent over the past few weeks. I am experiencing slight nausea in the morning and sometimes have been feeling short of breath. I have also been more tired than usual. What could be causing this and should I be worried?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Chest pain with nausea and tiredness do indicate gastritis with possible vitamin deficiency secondary to the stomach issue. My guidelines for better recovery:
- Drink more liquids in sessions
- Prefer diet with easily digestible food stuff and avoid all spices, non veg, junk item, diary fat
- Proton pump inhibitor such as Omeprazole with sips of water on empty stomach
- Supplements of multi vitamin and B complex for weakness coverage

Consult your primary care for further guidance during next scheduled visit and follow up. Meanwhile, feel free to consult at this website at any point of time.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
