General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

A case with chronic constipation and back pain may indicate internal abdomen pathology with bowel compression more likely.

A CT scan of the abdomen & pelvis is mandatory to proceed for the final diagnosis.

Till that time, plenty of liquids, high fiber diet and analgesic as ibuprofen or diclofenac will help to relieve the pain instantly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
