Hello,

It could be the other way round: people who suffer from chronic constipation often complain of post nasal drip or a frontal headache, since its the body role to produce more mucus or excess sinus discharge when toxins are not eliminated naturally. Since I'm unable to examine you directly, presently it could be because of your dehydration and not be eating as per daily routine, so what you can do is:
-Take old brown rice, green gram, chickpea, green vegetables, bottle gourd, water, papaya, grapes, muskmelon, raisins, dates, orange, pears, guava, apricot, honey, milk.
-Avoid newly harvested rice, black gram, peas, banana, potato, spicy and junk food, late nights, sedentary lifestyle.
-Purgation with olive oil is best and free of side effect.
-Early morning: eat ten cashew nuts and four raisins and drink water after coming out of bed
-Do exercise which increases the tone of abdominal muscles and stimulates peristalsis like:
-Straight leg raising
-Scissor kicks
-Sit-Ups
-Walking, jogging
As constipation is chronic thus consult with your primary care doctor as he will be in better condition as how to approach the symptom, and also, As a rule, one should always palpate the abdomen, and if there is tenderness, never give an enema or strong purgatives.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Munish Sood
