What Causes Chronic Cough Along With Popping Sensation In The Joints?

Hi, I have been dealing with a cold for the past 3-4 days and I ve been coughing very hard. I felt something pop and I don t know if it was a brain aneurysm happening or a joint popping, but I m very scared that I m going to die. I have no symptoms of neck pain, or blurred vision, no seizures, no vomiting, but I m still scared. What if symptoms creep up on me. I don t know what to do
