What Causes Chronic Cough Along With Swollen Neck?
Hello, I m a very healthy 72 year old female. In December of 2016, I started feeling like I had something in my throat, I started coughing a lot (I never cough or even get colds). I ve had a bit of light yellow mucous come up with my coughing. My neck feels swollen although I can t be sure if it is. The coughing happens both day and night. I do have a wellness visit with my doctor scheduled in late March. By the way, the meds I take are 40 mg fluoxetine and 10 mg buspirone as needed (usually take one or two a day). I ve had no other health issues in my life.

Consult a physician and start a short course of antibiotics. You have to get an ultrasound scan of the neck to evaluate the neck swelling.
